HOT AND COLD INSULATION

Thermal Rust is a well established and experienced in Hot and Cold Insulation, having had done Thermal Spray Coatings for Safety Insulation work.

FIREPROOFING

Thermal Rust specializes in the supply and installation of all manner of Passive Fireproofing.

Structural steel loses structural stability at 600°. Legislation requires that structural steel supporting a floor above must be protected from fire to enable those above to escape within a given time period.

Intumescent Coating is designed to protect structural steel for 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, according to the required specified rating. In the event of a fire the coating will ‘intumesce’ and expand to form a thermally insulated layer of char to protect the steel beneath.

SANDBLASTING & PAINTING YARD

The main yard is based at 93 Neutron Rd, Vulcania, Brakpan, and consist of underroof facilities for blasting, painting and rubber lining. The workshop size is 8765m2 underroof and 7500m2 laydown area. All safety regulations are complied to on equipment and the workspace. We have overhead Cranes and forklift for heavier stuff. We have trained sandblasters and spray painters.

MooiNooi Yard & Vaal Triangle Yard:

Our blast yards in Vaal Triangle and Mooinooi will be operational in the near future

All yard work will be accompanied by a complete and proper signed-off QC pack, including NDT reports where applicable

SCAFFOLDING

We pride ourselves in being a one stop service. We therefor also provide the following services:

Scaffolding Bird Cage
Tower Scaffolding
Cherry Pickers
Rope access should this be required.

We have qualified Scaffold Erectors and Scaffold Inspectors that can sign-off scaffolding that are built.

We also provide erection of mobile Aluminium Scaffolding towers to client specifications
